While Agentforce is steadily improving and adding capabilities, many customers still prefer to bring their own agents like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc. and hook them up to Data 360 using MCP.
As of July 2026, there are currently two Salesforce-hosted MCP servers for Data 360:
- Data 360 Query MCP server: a "legacy" option that only provides read-only access to the Data 360 Query API.
- Data 360 MCP Server. This is not yet available to be activated under Salesforce setup, but is incredibly powerful. For now, you'll have to run it locally following the instructions here.
