Application Privacy Policy

This generic Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications developed and published by 23p Technologies, LLC on app stores including Google Play (such as Airlock).

We believe your device belongs to you and your privacy should be respected by default. Our applications are built with a privacy-first, offline architecture: they require no user accounts, contain no advertising or third-party trackers, and perform no data collection or telemetry whatsoever.

1. Zero Data Collection

We do not collect, harvest, monitor, store, sell, or transmit any personal data or usage metrics. Specifically, our applications do not collect:

  • Personal Identifiers: No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials.
  • Device Identifiers: No advertising IDs (such as Google Advertising ID / GAID), hardware serial numbers, MAC addresses, or IP addresses.
  • Location Data: No coarse or precise GPS or network location information.
  • Usage & Telemetry: No analytics, session tracking, crash reporting SDKs, or background telemetry.
  • User Content: No media playback history, file names, or viewing habits.

2. No User Accounts Required

Our applications do not require account registration, login credentials, social logins, or profile creation. All app features are accessible immediately upon installation without providing any identity information.

3. 100% On-Device & Offline Operation

All content, settings, and application configurations are stored strictly locally on your device:

  • The applications run entirely on-device and do not require internet access to function. Offline applications like Airlock do not even request or declare network permissions (android.permission.INTERNET).
  • Any media files, videos, or documents imported into the application reside exclusively within private on-device app storage and are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party services.

4. Device Permissions & System Integrations

When our applications interact with device capabilities, they do so exclusively through secure, system-level Android APIs:

  • File Import (Storage Access Framework): When importing files (such as local videos or documents), the app delegates file selection to Android's native system file picker. The app only accesses the specific files or folders you explicitly choose to import.
  • Biometric & PIN Security: If an application includes an optional parental or settings security gate, authentication is performed via Android's native BiometricPrompt or a locally salted cryptographic hash (SHA-256) stored in app-private storage. Biometric templates are processed entirely by the device operating system hardware; the app never receives, stores, or transmits raw biometric information.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR)

Our applications (including family-oriented apps like Airlock) are designed to provide a safe, distraction-free environment for children and families. Because we collect zero user data:

  • We do not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union), or from any user of any age.
  • Our apps do not contain behavioral advertising, third-party trackers, in-app purchases, or external links accessible to children.
  • All administrative controls and file import mechanisms are protected behind parental security gates.

6. Third-Party Services & SDKs

We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs, tracking frameworks, marketing tools, or analytics platforms in our mobile applications. No user or device data is shared with or sold to third parties.

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect application updates or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted directly to this URL with an updated effective date.
